130300 BANA JAPAN NEWSLETTER VOL. 0 GONGCHAN

MAGAZINE/JAPANESE 2013. 3. 29. 02:50

1. B1A4's songs are overflowing in variety and they're all good, but which is your favourite song?
A: 'Beautiful Target'. You can't get bored of it no matter how many times you listen to it, and the more you listen to it you discover new charms. It's a song I really like!

2. Please tell us about an interesting habit or secret about the members.
A: When we are tired, we all have different habits. Baro hyung suddenly gets talkative while Sandeul hyung on the other hand becomes quiet (laugh). CNU hyung would be exhausted after concentrating and using all his energy so he rests. Jinyoung hyung will lose focus in his eyes... (laugh)

3. How do you handle feeling unhappy or depressed? What do you do to feel better?
A: At those times, I would listen to songs that will make me positive and fool around with the members to laugh.

4. If you were to describe the members as a household appliance? Please explain why.
A: Baro - Battery. He is really energetic in the day, afternoon and evening, but its power drops at night? The amount of talking reduces. When we get home and sleep, he recharges and the next morning it's at 100% again.
Sandeul - The 'inflatable dancing man' with long arms and legs set up in front of shops for event-use. [T/N: This.] When he dances comical dances, paired with his interesting reactions, they look really similar.
CNU - Electronic dictionary. Like an encyclopaedia, CNU hyung is the holder of an abundant amount of knowledge. If there's anything I don't know, or songs that I don't know, he will teach me when I ask.
Jinyoung - Fluroscent lamp. He flickers/forgets easily. [T/N: The Korean term 깜박 refers to both flicker and forget.]

5: If you could become another member for a day, who would you want to be? What do you want to do?
A: I want to become Sandeul hyung, and be able to play the piano while singing all day long.

6. If you had a time machine, when do you want to travel to? The past? Or the future?
A: I miss the times I spent with my friends in middle school so I want to go back to then. I still think of them occasionally now so it'll be nice if there was really a time machine.

7. What subject would you teach if you were a teacher? Would be it expectedly, a music teacher?
A: I think I'd be a mathematics teacher. I really liked mathematics since I was young, and whenever I was able to solve difficult questions by myself I'd feel a sense of achievement.

8. Gongchan is the maknae of the group. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being the youngest? Please tell us some secrets about the members!
A: The advantage is that no matter where we go, the members will be looking after me. The disadvantage is that the members would disappear somewhere one by one when we need to clean, and so I end up cleaning everything by myself. The members' secrets... They always sleep later than I do. What do they do? I don't know.

9. If you were allowed to raise a pet in the dormitory, what would you choose to raise? What would you name it?
A: A puppy with the name 'Kong'.

10. What is the one thing you will never lose to the members?
A: Scissors paper stone. And I'm better than all of them at withstanding tickles.

11. I really like you, Gongchan. I've been watching B1A4's DVDs and listening to your CDs! Who is your favourite artiste, and what song of theirs do you like? Or a song that you listen to often? But if that artiste or group is female, I'm going to cry though...
A: Recently I've been listening to SMAP's 世界に一つだけの花 (One and Only Flower in the World).

12. To Gongchan who has been researching about Sugi-chan's "~~da-ze" materials! Have you remembered any other new gags?
A: Currently I am using Sugi-chan's "~~da-ze" and "Aren't I wild?" gags. [T/N: Sugi-chan is a Japanese comedian. His main gag is to continously say “Isn’t it wild?”, “Aren’t I wild?” ending with 'da-ze'. Read more here.] I don't really know new gags, so please teach me if you know any interesting ones!
